The Senior Director of Learning and Development is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and executing an enterprise-wide learning strategy focused on associate development, professional skills growth, and career progression. This position oversees a team of learning and development professionals to design and deliver high-impact programs, leveraging innovative learning technologies, skills cloud frameworks, and curated content platforms. The Senior Director partners with executives and HR leaders to align learning initiative with business priorities, enhance onboarding, upskilling, and career pathing, and foster a culture of continuous development. This role ensures that learning solutions support both individual and organizational growth, equipping associates with the skills needed for long-term success.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Define and implement the strategy for associate learning and development, designing and delivering impactful content and programs.

  • Identify and address associate professional skill development needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Establish and oversee enterprise-wide career development programs that provide associates with clear pathways for advancement.

  • Leverage skills cloud technology to build and maintain organizational skills frameworks.

  • Oversee the implementation of blended learning approaches, including modern digital, instructor-led and experiential learning.

  • Ensure the effectiveness of learning methodologies and drive innovation in program delivery.

  • Build and lead a team of learning professionals with strong instructional design, program delivery and facilitation skills.

  • Oversee the implementation of high-quality and consistent onboarding programs to accelerate new hire productivity and engagement.

  • Maximize the effectiveness of learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms to enhance the employee learning experience.

  • Drive the use of AI, data analytics, and emerging technologies to assess and track the effectiveness of learning solutions.

  • Implement consistent competency frameworks aligned with TransUnion's Values, Beliefs and Winning Behaviors to guide employee development.

  • Collaborate with HRBPs, business leaders, and global/regional learning partners to enhance learning strategies and establish common learning frameworks and standards.

  • Engage with external learning providers, universities and thought leaders to bring best practices into the organization.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $166,800.00 - $250,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
