Job Title: Camp Nurse FLSA Status: Full Time, Temporary - Exempt Schedule: Varies Supervises: Camp Nurse Assistant Rate of Pay: $1,200 weekly - 8 weeks Closing Date: 04/30/2025 Benefits: Standard; Full-Time, Temporary, Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following: Sick leave benefit - 1 day per month, 12 sick days per year (accrual and availability begins at hire; sick time accrual is pro-rated for part-time hours.) Function: The Camp Nurse's primary responsibilities are to provide first aid to sick and/or injured personnel and serve as a first responder to any emergency involving injuries. Additional responsibilities include accounting for medications during registration, distributing the medication during meals and evening snacks and keeping a written log of all that is done. This position will adhere to the Camp Code of Conduct, support the Christian camping and ministry culture as well as uphold the mission, and practices of The Salvation Army and its doctrine. Duties and Responsibilities: GENERAL DUTIES: Maintain a standard of cleanliness in personal grooming and in living quarters. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Safety and Supervision Enforce, and abide by, all camp policies and procedures Weekly Responsibilities Plan and carry out a total health and safety program for the camp staff according to High Peak Camp health protocols. Maintain accountability for nursing judgements and actions. Qualification and Education Requirements: 21+ years of age preferred. Ability to provide supervision and guidance to both staff and campers. Current Nursing License (RN, CPN, CPA, CAN) and if from another state, the license has reciprocity in the state ofColorado. (required)
