We are looking for skilled and dedicated technicians from the Commercial Roofing Service industry to join our dynamic team.

General Summary

The Flexible Membrane Technician will be responsible for producing, inspecting and packaging pre-manufactured liners and secondary containment products. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of tools and equipment for the installation of membrane systems including heat welding and seam rollers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial roofing or similar experience and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure high standards of workmanship.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Perform seaming of various types of flexible membrane systems including but not limited to TPO, EPDM, PVC and TPU.
  • Work safely within an indoor environment requiring little to no travel but with consistent work hours and steady work throughout the year.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care and storage of tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project specifications and production timelines are met.
  • Document work performed, including descriptions of work performed, quality checklists and sometimes photographs
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new roofing technologies, and best practices.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required



  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in roofing is a plus.
  • Experience in commercial roofing or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in the installation and repair of membrane systems, including heat welders, seam rollers, and other specialized equipment.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work production shift hours and overtime as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a plus


Working Conditions



  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs to waist and over head
  • Ability to bend, twist, stand and walk up to 9 hours per day.
  • Wear all required PPE including: knee pads, cut resistant gloves, hearing protection (as required) and safety glasses (as required)
  • Good physical condition and endurance.
  • Ability to work in high heat conditions.
