MORI Associates is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide support to the KSC Center Delivered Services Office in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency's enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA's message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA's communication to the outside world. JOB DESCRIPTION / FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Experienced Systems Engineer to provide engineering support to the IT Directorate Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience. EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS: Systems Engineering experience. Requires thorough understanding of NASA KNPR 8040.1, NASA Configuration Management Process, 7123.1, NASA Systems Engineering Processes and Requirements and KSC Technical Review Process, KDP-P-2713. Minimum Requirements: * Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint. * Requires onsite presence 5 days a week at Kennedy Space Center. Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with Kennedy Space Center and NASA processes. This is an onsite position at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida.
