Acara Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our growing global client in Barrington, IL. IMMEDIATE HIRING DECISIONS!

Position Summary:
Handle product from the inbound process to the outbound process. Computer entry work will be required. Might need to use powered industrial equipment.Attention to detail for accurate transactions is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Obtains and reads pick lists, packing lists or other paperwork to determine the function that needs to be performed.
Picks and places product into proper location based on transaction performed. Ensures that product matches SKU description and unit of measure. Verifies that quantities are correct on all transactions.
Check visually to ensure products are in good condition and damage-free.Remove damaged items when appropriate.
Completes paper documentation requirements for work function.
Notifies Supervisor or Lead of any inventory issues that may arise.
Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean and orderly.
Demonstrates dependability, safety consciousness and quality standards, a willingness to maintain flexibility and perform warehouse functions as needed with a sense of urgency, and consistently performs as expected.
Assist other team members as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction.Maintain good employee relations and teamwork.
Performs all other duties as assigned or required.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

- A High School Diploma from an accredited learning institution or GED is required.

- Ability to read and write in English.

- Must have at least one year of recent general warehouse experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Powered industrial truck experience is preferred.
Preferred experience in computers and scanners required
Lifts, carries, pulls and pushes up to 40 pounds frequently and 70 pounds occasionally with assistance if needed.
Stooping, standing, bending and reaching is required.
Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
Must possess the interpersonal skills to deal well with team members.

Must possess basic keyboarding skills to enter in warehouse system.
Must possess verbal and written communication in addition to English reading skills to read documents, complete paper documentation, follow written instruction, prioritize work, and ask questions when issues occur.
Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.
Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
