Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of the licensed staff and resident assistants as well as all nursing care activities. Serves as back-up for Director of Nursing. What you will do Manage 24-hour nursing care Assist developing, implementing and coordinating resident care plans Supervise the Nursing team and Residents Assistants Conduct in-service training for Nursing and NAC team members Supervise, implement and assess a variety of nursing plans and programs to include, fall prevention plan, prevention of weight loss, resident bladder training/evaluation, skin conditions and treatments, and infection control Assure incidents are accurately documented, investigated and reported to necessary parties Participate in RAC meetings assuring proper authorizations are obtained Work on the floor in the event of any staffing challenges and/or emergencyMay be designated on call as part of a coverage rotationLearn and apply Company, Federal, State and local rules, regulations and policies What you'll need Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington State CPR certification within 30 days of hire Past experience in designing and implementing a quality care plan Experience and/or training in geriatric nursing practice Computer skills to include MS Office and Electronic Health Records Exceptional assessment skills required Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated leadership, public relations, and supervisory skills Ability to speak, communicate, and understand conversation English Salary Range: $33.79 to $54.29 per hour |
