About the Role Impact you will make The Senior Director Payer Sales, will be responsible for leading business development initiatives and strategy in the payer market space. In this role, you will contribute directly alongside members of the sales, marketing, business development, executive, client strategy and client success teams as well as interact directly with senior with the ultimate goal of driving meaningful growth and building enduring partnerships. What you will do
- Manage a team of Sales professionals who focus on Payer market (direct and channel) that have a stake in the healthcare revenue cycle; ensure those professionals can effectively position FinThrive Payer Solutions (e.g., Data, Rev Cycle Tech, etc.) to those target Companies
- Establish/identify priorities and key market opportunities to develop business strategies along with a strategic plan; explore new sales opportunities by analyzing competitive information and establishing courses of action
- Maintain a deep working knowledge of FinThrive payer solutions and how they meet the business needs of current and prospective clients
- Leverage knowledge of the Payer space to inform product positioning and sales strategy
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders as applicable to ensure the right companies are being targeted, based on criteria for successful partnership
- Manage partner growth, monitor, and enhance metrics for clients and integration points
- Establish market accepted pricing models and processes for our partners
- Success is measured via Bookings and Revenue Growth
- Be responsible for creation and maintenance of Value-Added Reseller (VAR) contract terms and conditions
- Forecast and execute on agreed upon plans to exceed quarterly and annual targets for bookings and revenue based on the teams' ability to generate interest and qualify and formalize agreements with these identified companies
- Ensure minimal terminations against quarterly and annual targets
- Develop talent and advancement path of team members and recruit the right new talent as applicable
- Create and maintain a positive image of the Company via business relationships with internal and external clients
- Remain knowledgeable on value associated with FinThrive Solutions and how Client Business Issues are addressed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to those identified within the Standards of Business Conduct and the Colleague Handbook, as may be amended from time to time; adhere to all applicable laws and regulations and the company's governance/compliance program
- Responsible for reporting violations of the company's policies and procedures, Standards of Business Conduct, governance program, laws and regulations through the company's Help Line or other mechanism that may be available at the time of the violation. Assists with internal control failure remediation efforts
- Become knowledgeable of internal control responsibilities through training and instruction; be responsible and accountable for internal control performance within their area of responsibility; participate in the internal controls self-assessment process
- Ensure concerns with internal control design or performance and process changes that impact internal control execution are communicated to management
- Possess a full and complete understanding of the internal control requirements within their area of ownership/responsibility' be responsible and accountable for internal control implementation and performance within their area of ownership/responsibility; ensure proper internal control change management protocol is followed
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related Business degree
- 12+ years' work experience in healthcare revenue cycle, expertise in the health insurance industry including medical expense management, data integrity, or healthcare IT or technology vendor with demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility
- Previous proven experience managing sales professional in the payer market (s)
- Experience building revenue-generating partnerships with industry leaders
- Self-starter and independent thinker with the aptitude to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills, ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages
- Travel Requirement: 40%-75% depending on conference and client meetings
