Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to develop a data-driven framework for measuring the quality of hire and analyzing exit interviews using HireLogic. The intern will leverage HireLogic's capabilities to extract insights, identify patterns, and create a reporting system to support Talent Acquisition (TA) decision-making.

Project Scope

Understanding HireLogic:

  • Gain familiarity with HireLogic's features and functionalities.
  • Explore data extraction, analytics, and reporting capabilities.

Defining Quality of Hire Metrics:

  • Research industry benchmarks for quality of hire (QoH).
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) such as retention rate, performance reviews, hiring manager satisfaction, and productivity metrics.
  • Work with the TA team to align QoH metrics with business goals.

Data Collection & Integration:

  • Utilize HireLogic to extract and analyze hiring data.
  • Integrate internal performance and retention data where possible.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness for meaningful analysis.

Developing a Measurement Framework:

  • Design a scoring model to quantify quality of hire.
  • Automate data processing for efficiency.
  • Create visual dashboards and reports using relevant tools (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau).

Exit Interview Analysis:

  • Use HireLogic to analyze exit interview data and extract trends.
  • Identify common themes in reasons for departure.
  • Correlate exit interview insights with quality of hire metrics.

Deliverables:

  • A documented framework for measuring quality of hire.
  • An automated dashboard with QoH metrics and exit interview insights.
  • A summary report with key findings and recommendations for TA improvement.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Improved understanding of hiring effectiveness.
  • Data-driven insights to refine hiring strategies.
  • Actionable recommendations for enhancing employee retention.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Data analytics and visualization (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau)
  • Understanding of HR metrics and workforce analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience or coursework in data analysis, statistics, or HR analytics
  • HS 3-4 years
