About the Opportunity:
Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment while contributing to recruitment strategy, marketing, employer branding, and employee engagement initiatives. The intern will also learn about HR processes specific to a manufacturing setting, supporting our mission of continuous improvement and exceptional quality. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow their HR skills in a collaborative and innovative workplace.

Location: Stuart, Florida
Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Support marketing and employer branding efforts to enhance our presence as an employer of choice.
  • Engage with employees to promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.
  • Learn and support HR processes specific to a manufacturing environment.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in organizing employee events and engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized HR records and documentation.
  • Support compliance with HR policies and regulations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR department.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Strong interest in HR, recruitment, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or work experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing for employer branding.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
