Join a collaborative and global team who is changing the way we use workplace technology. The eDiscovery and Surveillance team within Macquarie provides technology and services to retain, discover and conduct surveillance against Electronically Stored Information (ESI). As a global technology service, we partner with Legal, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Security teams across Macquarie during the eDiscovery phase of investigations.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require five days a week in our office location

What role will you play?

As a Jr Technical Specialist, your responsibilities will include collecting and preserving Electronically Stored Information from physical assets like Windows computers, MacBooks, and mobile devices. You will be part of a team that handles the entire lifecycle of building and maintaining automation tools and creating industry-leading distributed Kubernetes-based platforms. Your tasks will also involve evaluating existing ESI and disposing of data that meets our record retention criteria. Regularly, you will manage physical devices such as laptops, mobile devices, and USB drives. Additionally, you will utilize forensic imaging software and perform technical tasks within a cloud storage environment.
Although previous eDiscovery experience is not required, it is crucial to have an appreciation for the proper handling of sensitive data. Salary range for this position: $28-53/hour. Actual salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

*Technical support experience managing customer request tickets or work orders in an IT Service Management platform.
*Proven ability to maintain and update an online inventory of digital assets.
*Skilled in confidentiality protocols, secure data handling, and device management to protect sensitive information.
*eDiscovery experience, including forensic imaging and encryption tools, and cloud storage experience are advantageous.
