Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Workforce Analytics Specialist to join our HR team. This role will work closely with the Director of Workforce Analytics to support HR initiatives across talent management, performance, compensation, learning and development, and key organizational stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong data-driven mindset, advanced data visualization skills, and a solid understanding of HR systems and metrics. They will be responsible for identifying key and meaningful trends, offering insight on our strengths, and opportunities around HR-related data, benchmarking these against competitors and market standards, and developing actionable insights that help to drive business decisions. Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collaborate with the Director of Workforce Analytics to identify key HR metrics that support organizational goals in talent management, performance, compensation, and learning and development.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations to enhance HR practices.
- Benchmark internal HR metrics against industry standards and competitors to assess how the company compares in areas such as compensation, talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement.
- Data Visualization & Dashboard Creation:
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as MS Fabric, PowerBI, PowerApps, SharePoint, and other analytic tools.
- Use data from core HR applications (e.g., UKG Analytics, HR applications) to build comprehensive reports that inform HR decisions.
- Ensure visualizations are clear, actionable, and accessible to leadership teams and other stakeholders.
- Technology Solutions & Automation:
- Develop and implement technology solutions, such as chatbots and automation tools, to streamline HR support functions (e.g., answering common employee questions on compensation, benefits, and HRIS).
- Identify opportunities to automate responses to frequently asked questions and reduce manual interventions, particularly for system support and compensation inquiries.
- Partner with HRIS teams to enhance user experience through self-service solutions and training materials.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure data analytics support the overall HR strategy and objectives.
- Provide training and guidance on how to interpret HR data and use analytics tools effectively.
- Collaborate with external vendors or industry peers to obtain benchmarking data and insights.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay current with the latest workforce analytics tools, trends, and best practices, including emerging technologies such as AI-driven analytics and machine learning.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps in data collection, reporting, and analysis, and suggesting process improvements where necessary.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in Workforce analytics, data analysis, or related fields, preferably in a corporate or large organization.
- Proven experience with data visualization tools, particularly MS Fabric/PowerBI, PowerApps, SharePoint, and other analytics platforms.
- Experience with HR applications (e.g., UKG Analytics, or similar HRIS systems) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends and insights that support business goals.
- Experience in building automation tools and solutions, including chatbots or other self-service technologies, is a plus.
- Solid understanding of HR metrics, compensation models, performance management, and learning and development practices.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and influence stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HR technology platforms (UKG, etc.), and experience with analytics modules.
- Experience in implementing AI or machine learning solutions for HR applications.
