The Level 3 Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing troubleshooting, installation, equipment repairs, continuous improvement and preventative / daily maintenance of production and facility equipment. This position applies mechanical theory and related knowledge to test and modify manufacturing machinery and equipment

Hours are 6am - 2pm, Mon - Fri - -with occasional work on Sat.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Promotes job safety, and is an active participant in the development of plant safety goals, policies and procedures
* Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
* Inspect, set-up and adjust machine rolls; embossing and die rolls
* Accurately troubleshoot common mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
* Respond to all breakdowns quickly and perform repairs correctly while performing quality work
* Check and review work orders and complete tasks on a priority basis
* Develop process capability changes to improve quality, reduce scrap and increase productivity
* Perform basic electrical preventative maintenance checks
* Operate forklift, aerial lift, tow motor, tractors, and other facility vehicles safely
* Participate in cross-functional project groups
* Demonstrate high levels of good housekeeping practices
* Participate in the management and maintenance of the parts inventory system, including research to determine parts required
* Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
* Ability to work occasional weekends along with participating in the maintenance on-call program.

Education & Experience
* Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
* 4-6 years related experience and/or training in manufacturing.
* 3-5 years related experience and/or training in maintenance.
* Fork / Aerial Lift Certified.
* Knowledge of the standard practices, materials, tools and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of manufacturing machinery / equipment.
