Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand the sales development team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and sales targets.
  • Develop and execute innovative outbound strategies and campaigns to penetrate key target accounts, utilizing phone and email tactics.
  • Oversee the management of the sales development process, ensuring high productivity and efficiency in pipeline generation.
  • Train and coach team members on best practices in outbound prospecting, sales techniques, and the use of sales tools.
  • Utilize and optimize a comprehensive tool stack including Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, and Connect And Sell to streamline outreach efforts and enhance performance tracking.
  • Analyze performance data to monitor and report on team effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes and achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing leaders to ensure seamless transition of leads and alignment on qualification criteria.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the sales development team.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of sales development representatives to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to the CRO and other stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic plans for scaling worldwide sales efforts.
  • Reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly results of individuals and entire SDR team

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Sales Development leadership experience, with expertise in persuasiveness and negotiation
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in a global context, with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience leading teams of 20-30 members, overseeing and guiding three first-line managers in their respective roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes and principles, especially in outbound prospecting and pipeline development.
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing sales technology stacks such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, and ConnectAndSell.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical skills with a penchant for data-driven decision making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity in Email Security Sales is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
