Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand the sales development team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and sales targets.
- Develop and execute innovative outbound strategies and campaigns to penetrate key target accounts, utilizing phone and email tactics.
- Oversee the management of the sales development process, ensuring high productivity and efficiency in pipeline generation.
- Train and coach team members on best practices in outbound prospecting, sales techniques, and the use of sales tools.
- Utilize and optimize a comprehensive tool stack including Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, and Connect And Sell to streamline outreach efforts and enhance performance tracking.
- Analyze performance data to monitor and report on team effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes and achieve sales goals.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing leaders to ensure seamless transition of leads and alignment on qualification criteria.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the sales development team.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of sales development representatives to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to the CRO and other stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic plans for scaling worldwide sales efforts.
- Reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly results of individuals and entire SDR team
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Sales Development leadership experience, with expertise in persuasiveness and negotiation
- Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in a global context, with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
- Experience leading teams of 20-30 members, overseeing and guiding three first-line managers in their respective roles.
- In-depth knowledge of sales processes and principles, especially in outbound prospecting and pipeline development.
- Expertise in managing and optimizing sales technology stacks such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, and ConnectAndSell.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a diverse team.
- Strong analytical skills with a penchant for data-driven decision making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity in Email Security Sales is a plus
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
