Our success will be built on amazing colleagues, working together. Job Overview The Seller Success Associate supports the growth of Macy's Marketplace. This entrepreneurial role requires strong communication and analytical skills to optimize strategic partnerships with new Marketplace sellers at Macy's and Bloomingdale's. The Associate reports to the Senior Manager, Seller Management and collaborates closely with Digital, Merchandising, and other cross-functional partners across the enterprise to execute the Marketplace growth strategy. Externally, this role is responsible for optimizing seller performance by leveraging data to drive smart decision-making, developing new programs to enhance seller performance, and resolving any obstacles sellers encounter. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and listening skills to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences and share complex information in an easily digestible format. Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data to drive smart decision-making and improve seller performance. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Teamwork: Proven experience working with multiple departments, including Digital, Merchandising, and external seller communities, to achieve common goals. Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to ensure that the Marketplace reflects Macy's brand and customer base. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to navigate and resolve issues faced by sellers and other stakeholders. Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines while managing ongoing projects. Self-Starter and Adaptability: Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Creative and Strategic Thinking: Capability to think both creatively and strategically to drive Marketplace growth and innovation. Sales and Facilitation: Strong skills in sales and facilitating partnerships to drive marketplace success. Technical Acumen: Understanding of digital commerce and marketplace platforms, along with the ability to communicate technical issues and solutions to various levels of the organization. Positive Energy and Motivation: Bringing enthusiasm, optimism, and a proactive attitude to the workplace. Bias for Action: Ability to take initiative and act with urgency to achieve goals. Technical Proficiency: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), as well as other software tools necessary for daily tasks.
