Interns will be exposed to Levy's unique culture, personal and professional development workshops, and standards of service at Levy's Home Office in Chicago, IL. This summer internship program is offered to full-time college students interested in a career in hospitality, sports and entertainment, or data analytics. Upon successful completion of the On-Deck program, interns have the potential to receive a full-time, entry-level position post-graduation. Key Responsibilities: On- Deck Interns will work independently or in a partnership/group on their 10-week project and will follow a structured curriculum presenting their findings to Levy Leadership at the conclusion of the summer. Professionalism, time management, problem solving, and eagerness to learn are expectations of each intern. * The Supply Chain Intern is responsible for learning Levy's supply chain systems * Utilize field feedback to identify process & system continual improvement opportunities. * Utilize training materials as process and system updates are made * Assist with operational needs * Work on various other projects * Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills including Microsoft suite * Ability to learn new software systems * Willingness to Learn supply planning cycle for season planning to establish purchasing plans that effectively meet demand requirements without compromising financials or guest satisfaction * Learn how to Exercise analytical rigor while developing solutions and estimating benefits * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Highly adaptable with meticulous attention to detail * Excellent organizational abilities * Committed to process improvement and professional growth * Knowledge of inventory & supply chain management principles and best practices Apply to Levy today!
