About the Role: The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company's growth by using a variety of strategies to increase brand awareness and support our Sales and Customer Success departments in growing and retaining our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, creating effective product marketing strategies, and promoting PitchBook at client and trade-show events. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the PR Manager, Executive Communications, will develop and lead execution of public relations, external communications, and social media strategies for PitchBook's executive leadership team. This role will be responsible for building proactive programs for each leader that effectively translate PitchBook's mission, vision, and values, while elevating the executives' personal and professional brands. These programs should entail development and maintenance of content calendars, external media engagements, bylines and blogs, event participation, speaking and award opportunities, and social media. This role requires a strategic communicator with expert writing skills, the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored by media channel, and build and maintain media relationships. This also requires a clear understanding of PitchBook's company mission, vision, and values to effectively translate key messaging priorities through our executives using engaging storytelling tactics. The successful candidate will be a strategic, high-judgement, and opportunistic professional who can work across teams to tell compelling stories about our business through our executives. *Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location. Working Conditions: We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position. The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
