Overview General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systmes manufactures and sells a broad range of high performance electro-mechanical and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies to the aerospace, defense, intelligence, reconnaissance, and surveillance markets. We presently have a need for a Sr Systems Engineer at our San Diego (Otay Mesa) location. This role is elegibile for a referral bonus. This position is responsible for planning, organizing and reviewing the performance of professional and/or technical staff performing engineering work related to the design of control electronics for motion control products. Preferred experience for this role:
Knowledge of electro-mechanical testing methods, data collection and analysis, equipment used in testing, and methods/processes of testing operations

Basic Qualifications Required Education: Associate's Degree Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Discipline/Major: General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree required Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 5-7 years experience in a relevant function Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise. Analytical thinking skills. Problem-solving skills. Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Pay Range (USD) $82,005.00 - $152,295.00 Pay Transparency Statement The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
