Cognizant is seeking a Senior JAVA Architect to join our team. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are looking for an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the ideal opportunity for you!

The Role: Fulltime with Cognizant
  • Role: Sr. JAVA Architect.
  • Location: Charlotte, NC, New Jersey (Hybrid: 3 days at Client's Office & 2 days Remote).
Roles/Responsibilities:
  • Develop Microservices with Spring Boot for the Java based application.
  • Develop API using Microservices Architecture in AWS Cloud platform.
  • Work with Business and Product Teams to gather requirements and translate to Design and Code.
  • Work in Agile environment with regular Sprints.
  • Provide POC/Demo to Business Teams at the end of each Sprint.
Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of proven experience in Core Java, Springboot, microservices.
  • Java development experience with knowledge of Java 1.7 and 1.8 features.
  • Develop, Deploy and scale applications in AWS Cloud Platform.
  • Spring Framework - Springboot.
  • RESTful micro services.
  • Oracle PL/SQL DB knowledge is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture teams.
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems.
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets.
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $56,000.00 - $80,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
