R&D Technician with Laser Testing Experience

Opportunity - R&D Technician for Laser Fiber Testing

We have an exciting R&D Technician opportunity working on a laser fiber testing project with a dynamic team of 1-3 R&D Techs.

This position involves working independently to assist R&D engineers and scientists in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, and equipment. You'll play a key role in prototype development, testing, and process improvements.

Develop and construct prototypes/products from concept to execution

Utilize mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures

Propose creative solutions and contribute to design/process concepts

Execute testing and validation of prototypes/products

Assist in establishing specifications and quality standards

Source supplies and services using internal/external resources

Communicate project status effectively with the team

AA Degree or equivalent work experience (3+ years of relevant experience)

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

LabVIEW experience (desired)

Experience with laboratory test equipment (preferred)

Medical device experience (preferred)

Laser experience (preferred)
