Sign-on Bonus of up to $500 - depending on experience

PAID TRAINING, 1st year potential to make $40k - $60k after training (Based on performance)

Schedule: Mon. - Fri. / start to finish position with occasional Saturday work*

ABC Home & Commercial Service is seeking a detail-oriented individual who is professional, diligent, and accountable. This individual should be willing to learn and apply specialized knowledge of Lawn Care treatments to best serve our customers. WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.
  • Previous lawn care experience not necessary - we provide paid training.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in fundamental mathematical concepts.
  • Able to comprehend and follow written communication effectively.
  • An individual that is serious, sincere and cooperative.
  • Able to manage specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence.
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure and still maintain good composure.
  • Experience working with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines of your service route.
  • Dependable and self-motivated with desire to work year-round.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in the use of handheld electronics, including iPhones and tablets, to efficiently perform job-related tasks.
  • Adaptable to varying environmental conditions, including exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • The position involves visiting multiple jobsites and interacting with customers on a daily basis.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Ensure the proper treatment and application of fertilizers and other chemicals to control the suspected or diagnosed disease to stimulate the growth of turf and/or to prevent and control the growth of weeds on the turf of the property.
  • Gain understanding and knowledge of various regional types of turf and common diseases and infestations.
  • Diagnose problems or diseases with the turf on residential and commercial properties and proposes treatment.
  • Learn and use all equipment in an efficient and safe manner as directed by the Crew Leader.
  • Become familiar with customers' expectations and service contracts.
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times with customers, fellow employees and supervisors.
