Warehouse Group Leader, Specialist, SC [IDL] Logistics Exeter, New Hampshire, United States - ams-OSRAM USA Inc. What we expect
  • oversees the daily operations in warehouse/ MRO stock room
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
  • oversee inventory management and conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • creating reports for management
  • ensuring production order shipments goes smoothly and in timely order
  • assist procurement & supply chain management with MRO/ inventory topics and logistics tasks
  • coordinating with other departments such as procurement, logistics and customer service
  • operates forklift
  • waste/HAZ management
  • SAP/ERP (inventory, procurement, purchasing info records, MRO user maintenance, GR, shipments)
  • Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in warehouse operations
  • identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient warehouse practices to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • train and develop team members on proper warehouse procedures, SAP, safety protocols, and company policies
  • Other tasks as deemed necessary
Who we are looking for
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment or similar role preferred
  • Forklift certification: Ability to operate a forklift for loading and unloading goods
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Familiarity with OSHA health and safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), SAP/ERP preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required during warehouse operations 50 Lbs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
