Description

Accountability: Mazak Corporation is hiring a Material Handler to join our Spindle Department located at our Headquarters in Florence, KY. The spindle material handler will oversee all inbound and outbound traffic. The clerk will start the tracking and organization process for all units, as well as be the final inspection before shipping spindles to the customer. The clerk will use the Spindle Repair departments in house systems to track, organize, store, and ship all units. Cleaning parts and maintaining the part washing system are also important roles the clerk will be assigned.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Checking in returned Spindle units
  • Storing spindle units in the racking system with proper identification using a forklift and inventory system
  • Auditing the storage system for accuracy
  • Preparing jobs for the repair technicians according to the schedule
  • Cleaning parts when needed
  • Maintaining the part washing system
  • Boxing and shipping Finished units


Education/Certification:



  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Prior forklift experience preferred.
  • Prior swing reach truck experience preferred but not required


Skills:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access preferred but not required
  • Organization skills
  • Cleanliness
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
