THE ROLE:

We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivated expert systems engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will have a strong technical background to contribute to all aspects of the software development process.

In this role, you will have full ownership of requirements delivery and drive projects to completion.

THE PERSON:

You're a highly motivated team player with a strong development background, problem solving mentality, excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks along with willingness to learn and adapt. Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce "Run of Show" documents, attendance reports, IT equipment readiness checklists and other items in support of production live events.
  • Responsible for events occurring in local production space as well as other regions as assigned.
  • Able to function as a producer for executive level events in support of global events platform.
  • Collaborate with operations and support teams to provide direction/support, streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance overall processes.
  • Operate, maintain, and upgrade video conferencing equipment, test environment, and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve video conferencing/events related incidents to ensure meeting spaces are ready for meetings.
  • Maintain C-Suite communications and engagements on all events.
  • Perform forward looking and ongoing planning for technology deliverables including upgrades.
  • Able to proactively support team culture that fosters knowledge sharing, excellence, and collaboration

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong working knowledge of video infrastructure platforms and related peripherals including Cisco, HP/Poly, and Pexip
  • Strong working knowledge of collaboration platforms including Teams and Zoom.
  • Strong remote video production background with experience in Riverside and other similar platforms.
  • Experience with remote digital whiteboard/collaboration platforms such as Slido
  • Strong understanding of network principles and technologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital video consoles, video matrices and routing platforms, production video cameras, wireless microphone technologies, projection systems, displays and broadcast related hardware.
  • Basic understanding of PC troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Extensive event production experience.
  • Strong experience in C-Level interactions.
  • Great teammate with excellent collaborative skills

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience strongly preferred.
