About this role:

The Senior Clinical Strategy Specialistis a global partner to the Prostate Health business and scientific stakeholders (including Clinical, Marketing, Regulatory, R&D, Pre-Clinical, Legal,etc.)who provides subject matter expertise on the Prostate Health portfolio and clinical evidence strategy. . This incumbent is responsible for supporting the global clinical evidence strategy across the Prostate Health portfolio including sustaining and New Product Development (NPD). This position has global responsibility and leverages Boston Scientific Clinical/Pre Clinical/R&D/contract resources to implement studies in compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements/standards.

This is a hybrid position (in office minimum three days per week) with the flexibility to be in Minnetonka, Arden Hills or Maple Grove, MN or Marlborough, MA. You will have the opportunity to discuss your preferred working location with your Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Contemporary & comprehensive understanding of existing literature and competitive landscape within the prostate health portfolio
  • Understand data gaps in the literature and support development of scientific strategies to close gaps that are considered key to the success of the Urology business.
  • Develop deep understanding and subject matter expertise of the therapeutic area and enable performance comparisons for emerging technologies.
  • Support development of product claims matrices and promotional materials.
  • Foster relationships with key opinion leaders through ISR, collaborative research, sponsored studies, case visits, and congress attendance.
  • Communicate evidence value proposition with succinct, data-driven messaging; support corporate decision making across various functions and levels of the organization.
  • Develop understanding and support, in partnership with clinical franchise team, of overarching global clinical evidence strategies.



Required qualifications :



  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in scientific field
  • Minimum 5 years of medical device experience, transferrable experience to be considered
  • Experience writing research protocols for bench, preclinical, and/or clinical studies
  • Ability to travel upto 20%



Preferred qualifications :



  • Advanced Master's degree (MS, MPH, ME, PhD) preferred
  • Familiarity or experience with BSC clinical sciences.
  • Experience engaging with physicians and customers

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
