Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a Director, Strategic Financial Planning to join our Finance team. This is a work from home position that requires residency in KY or IN. Leads and supports financial modeling and analysis for all potential strategic acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other strategic investments from inception through advanced data analysis, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, approval, closing and integration, including post integration retrospective reviews, or "looks backs" of actual vs. expected financial returns. Lead and coordinate the FP analytics team through financial analysis and reporting for the System long-range financial plan, including incorporating system-wide strategic, operational and financial goals and initiatives into a comprehensive and financial model to better inform decision making with projected debt, leverage and capital capacity constraints. Support market capital requests and process. Essential Functions:
- With support from the System AVP, Strategic Financial Planning leads SFP analytics team with the financial modeling and analysis for all potential strategic activities.
- Provides leadership and guidance to analytics team members as well as manages projects independently with minimal oversight.
- With support from the System AVP, Strategic Financial Planning leads SFP analytics team with the preparation of all business plans and briefs, including all related financial models, analysis and board presentation documents.
- With support from the System AVP, Strategic Financial Planning leads SFP analytics team with the preparation of retrospective business plan reviews, or "looks backs" and preparation of documents for the System Finance Committee.
- Assist the System AVP, Strategic Financial Planning and Market VP's of Financial Operations in the modeling of the System-wide long range financial forecasts, including assisting with the preparation of long-range forecast, annual budgets and other related requests.
- Assist the System AVP, Strategic Financial Planning to support the System planning, prioritization, tracking and reporting process for the Systems portfolio of discretionary and capital investments by preparing forecasts and other reports.
- Leads and directs the SFP analytics team in data analyses techniques and methodologies to actual information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience in financial planning and analysis experience.
- Preferred experience in a healthcare setting.
