Position Description and Responsibilities



  • Provide career coaching to individuals and groups related to job/internship search, resume/cover letter writing, career fair preparation, preparing for job interviews, or any other relevant topic.
  • Develop comprehensive Career Services related programming and resources for student use.
  • Present in student classrooms and facilitate Career Services workshops across the entire student population.
  • Work with internal and external constituents to positively affect student employment outcomes.
  • Assist in managing online resources (Handshake, Big Interview, Website, Social Media)
  • Assist with all day-to-day operations of the Career Services Center. Cover some evening hours.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with faculty to create career readiness opportunities for Dunwoody students.
  • Collaborate with other student affairs staff to achieve yearly department goals
  • Assist with data management and creation of institutional career services reporting.
  • Assist project managing various on-campus recruitment events.
  • Assist with implementing new equity and inclusion projects into student programming and employer relationships.
  • Assist with student life implementation including student organizations, events, and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Be enrolled or completed a graduate degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated high levels of skills in presentations, organization, communication, and project management
  • A genuine interest in working in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Career Counseling, Career Services, Coaching, Human Resources or Recruitment
