Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a Mailroom Clerk to join our team in Louisville. Efficiently manage the receipt, sorting, distribution, and processing of incoming and outgoing mail and packages within the hospital facility and offsite locations. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages to various departments, units, and personnel, supporting the smooth operation of hospital communications and logistics - this may include packages up to 50lbs. Provide high-quality copying, printing, and document-related services to various departments and personnel within the hospital. Operate copy machines, printers, and other reproduction equipment, as well as assist customers with their copying and document processing needs. Travel among local Baptist facilities is required. Essential Duties: * Receives incoming mail and packages, including letters, parcels, and interoffice correspondence. * Sorts and organizes mail based on departmental or individual recipients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery. * Signs for certified mail and receives signature of person picking up certified mail. Responsibility: Copying and Printing Services Weight 10% * Receives incoming copy and print job requests from hospital staff and departments. * Reviews job specifications, including quantity, paper size, color preferences, and deadlines. * Prioritizes and schedules jobs for timely completion. * Operates digital and analog copy machines, printers, and other reproduction equipment to producehigh-quality copies of documents, reports, forms, and other materials. * Ensures accurate reproduction according to customer specifications and requirements. * Assists customers with document-related tasks, including copying, collating, binding, laminating, andfinishing. * Provides guidance on paper selection, formatting options, and other document-related considerations. * Conducts quality checks on finished copies to ensure clarity, legibility, and accuracy. * Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to equipment malfunction, paper jams, and print errors. * Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of copy equipment as needed. Initiates repair of equipment * Provides friendly and efficient customer service to hospital staff and visitors seeking copy and printservices. * Answers inquiries, address concerns, and offer assistance with document-related tasks. * Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. * Monitors and replenishes supplies of paper, toner, ink cartridges, and other consumables required forcopy and print operations. * Places orders with vendors and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure adequate stock level. Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required
High School/GED No Experience Required Previous experience in mailroom operations, logistics, or related field preferred. Previous experience in a copy center, print shop, or similar environment preferred.
