Apply Job ID: 007542 Description: Salome Urena Campus (4600 Broadway) $110000 - $125000 / year Position Summary: In collaboration with a physician, delivers primary health care to students, as well as fulfills such duties as assessment, planning, teaching, and counseling. The SBHC Lead Nurse Practitioner provides leadership across the site to all SBHC staff. With the collaboration of the SBHC program manager, the SBHC Lead Nurse Practitioner is responsible for medical staff's performance evaluations and ensuring that the SBHC site is following NYS DOH and NYC DOHMH regulations and Children's Aid Policies and Procedures. The SBHC Lead Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with the Children's Aid Community School Director and staff and will represent the Health and Wellness Division at meetings with School/DOE Leadership, conference calls and other activities at the school site. The Lead Nurse Practitioner functions as a health team member in meeting the objectives of the program in the school. Essential Duties:
