Job Description: As a full time, non-exempt, Pharmacy Manager at Medical Plaza Pharmacy, you will manage and direct the retail pharmacy; oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling and supervising activities according to pharmacy policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws; develop and maintain a system of financial and inventory control; manage pharmacy staff and maintain a system of staff development; as well as ensure a safe and optimal patient and customer outcome. You will promote, through criteria based protocols, clinically rational drug therapy and sound pharmaceutical care. You will act as the Pharmacist In Charge and supervise the retail pharmacy staff including Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and a Pharmacy Clerk.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work full time, Monday through Friday day shift. .

Starting Pay: $65.00 to $75.00 an hour, based on experience.

About the Facility: Medical Plaza Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8am-6pm and is a stand alone pharmacy that is located within Lake Charles Memorial Hospital by the medical staff offices. This pharmacy will provide services to discharged patients, hospital employees and the retail community. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC .

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current Pharmacist license in good standing in LA
• Experience as a Pharmacist in aretail setting preferred
• Experience working as a pharmacy manager preferred
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
• Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• HepB3 Series(or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
• COVID Vaccine
