What you will do:

• Review requests for workand the needs of the requestor, visit the job site to scope work and estimate the labor and materialsrequired
• Develop a weekly schedule to ensure all resources are available
• Track open work backlogs
• Track the status of work orders to completion/closure
• Workwith engineering and reliability departments as required
• Utilize pipe and equipment specifications to ensure correct material
• Work with the QC departmentto ensure correct welding, flange make-up, insulation, and paint QC documentation is applied to job plans
• Assemble job boxes with parts, special tools, and work instructions
• Assist in root cause failure identification
• Develop and update standard job plans (Asset Activities) for repeat routine jobs
• Develop project plans for large jobs and coordinate implementation with multiple contractor companies
• Prepare Isometric drawings, diagrams, and other sketches to communicate the needs of the job
• Workoff-hours as needed
• Develop outage cost estimates
• Assign and track parent and child work order relationships
• Follow outage progress and maintain documentation through closeout and all work is complete
• Fill in the appropriate responsibilities of the Scheduling Supervisor when they are out

What you will bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree in Industrial Technology preferred

• If you have a degree: Minimum 5-10 years in Industrial Maintenance Planning in a chemical manufacturing operation or extensive related field experience
• If you do not have a degree: Minimum 10 years of Maintenance Planning and/or Maintenance Supervisory Experience along with at least 5 years of planning experience
• Possess knowledge of production systems and static equipment
• Knowledge of pipe fitting and welding craft skills
• Ability to Formulate/Read Sketches, Drawings, and Specifications
• Understanding of the Maintenance Function within the Organization
• Broad Working Knowledge of Technology and ASME and API Codes/Standards
• Experience with Primavera and/or Microsoft Projects preferred
