Position Description
Assists in administering human resources policies and procedures. Collects and maintains HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, etc., to help make recommendations for improvement. Processes paperwork for functional areas according to established procedures. May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
This position is a part-time, non-benefited position, averaging less than 20 hours per week.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Provide HR support to employees on various HR-related topics, such as policy information, benefits, leave, and payroll information.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes by meeting regularly with managers, conducting pre-employment background checks and reviewing applicant credentials, and working with managers to attract and source candidates.
  • Oversee and facilitate all HR onboarding processes and procedures for the Office of Strategic Initiatives.
  • Assist managers with various HR systems for employee-related transactions; review and process employment transactions timely.
  • Assist with benefit questions and administration. This includes meeting with employees, processing transactions, and answering questions related to benefits, retirement, and leave programs.
  • Responsible for administering leave programs for the Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI).


Required Qualifications
Requires bachelor's degree OR a combination of education and related experience to equal four (4) years.
