The Charlie Dunlop Biological Sciences Student Affairs (BSSA) office provides support and guidance to undergraduate students throughout their time at UCI. Student Affairs provides academic advising to the Charlie Dunlop School of Biological Sciences majors regarding degree requirements, School and University policies and procedures, course planning, degree progress, and campus resources and opportunities. This office coordinates and delivers new student advising and orientation, and oversees programs to support sub-populations within the School (e.g. student researchers, 1st generation college students, pre-health students, new freshmen/transfers, etc.). The office staff also facilitates the BioSci Pre-med Postbacc program, which supports the academic preparation of students pursuing a career change into health professions. Your Role on the Team Applies professional student services concepts with a focus on enrollment concerns. Provides student services to students, academic departments and the Dunlop School of Biological Sciences. Works on moderately complex issues. Receives assistance on more complex issues on advising and administrative issues Serves as the primary professional staff at the Dunlop Student Affairs front desk. Serves as one of the primary professional staff supporting course scheduling and curriculum support.
