Android Developer - Native Android app development Category: Engineering Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-381253 Android Developer - Native Android app development We are looking for a software engineer with experience in developing native Android applications and working with Android HAL API layer. We would prefer candidates who developed Android apps for in-vehicle infotainment systems. Collaborate with architects, engineers, GUI designers and technical specialists to design automotive Android application. Implement and optimize the Android Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) interface. Contribute to definition of objectives, scopes, timelines, milestones, deliverables, etc. Develop automatic validation and ensure proper code coverage. Validate new software modules on prototyping vehicle platforms. Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of systems. The minimum requirements we seek: 1+ years of recent experience in implementing custom Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL). 3+ years of Android application software development experience. Strong understanding of Android application architectures and design patterns, including MVC, MVP, and others. Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as React. Familiarity with continuous development and software development processes Strong documentation, writing, and communications skills Desired: Experience with automotive infotainment is a plus Estimated Min Rate: $60.00 Estimated Max Rate: $90.00 Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
