Your Opportunity: Taylor Warehousing and Fulfillment is seeking a Director of Fulfillment Center to join our team in either Jeffersonville, IN or Grove City, OH! The Director of Fulfillment Center is responsible for directing all aspects of the fulfillment operation including inventory, shipping and receiving, and maintenance of facilities and fleet. The specific locations supported are Jeffersonville, IN; Grove City, OH; Addison, TX; Newark, DE; Avon, MA; and Monroe Twp., NJ. In addition, the incumbent will make recommendations for capital improvements within distribution and process or system improvements. Your Responsibilities: * Direct and/or manage the ordering, inventory, and distribution of products, parts, and accessories * Utilize systems to monitor and track inventory through the distribution chain and identify and resolve issues * Manage inventory tracking, reporting, picking, put-away/storage, financial implications, and quick turnaround requirements * Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of inventory and finished goods to maximize sales * Proactive communication with Customer Service, Account Management and Sales on warehouse and distribution activities and adherence to the agreed upon service level agreements * Customer engagement through RFPs, Quarterly Business Review and process improvement * Assist with audit-related issues, cycle counts, and other related projects * Provide leadership and direction to team; establish clear expectations and goals and supply team members with the resources needed to achieve desired results * Encourage and provide team and individual development opportunities; develop career paths for area of oversight and cross-training and/or certification programs to assist team members in career growth * Provide performance feedback regularly to develop others and motivate positive behaviors; conduct mid-year and annual reviews of personnel * Respond to and resolve employee relations issues expressed by team members; create and maintain high quality work environment so team members are motivated to perform at their highest level * Maintain the security of the product and facility by ensuring security procedures and processes are followed * Develop and/or revise policies and procedures for distribution processes in order to ensure optimization and compliance with established standards and regulations; ensure work procedures and processes support company and departmental standards and strategic directives * Direct and participate in process improvement events using a variety of tools to include Six Sigma, 5S and Lean manufacturing techniques to include ongoing continuous improvement * Ensure a safe work environment for all employees by providing training, communication. And enforcement of all safety rules and regulations both within Taylor Corporation and national/ local regulations * Anticipate internal and external customers' needs whenever possible and respond quickly and accurately * Represent the company and its products in a courteous and professional manner You Must Have: * Bachelor's Degree in area of specialty or related field * Ten (10) years of experience in field or related area * Requires broad technical and administrative experience in a fulfillment environment and thorough knowledge of all fulfillment methods, techniques, and related equipment * Ability to use experience and independent judgment to handle unique and sometimes complex situations * Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers at varying levels * Ability to lead and direct the work of others; provide and support a vision and direction along with develop and motivate a team * Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations * Must be computer literate, particularly in WMS, transportation management, and inventory control applications About Taylor Corporation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdXOC8HM-NM One of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
