HJF is seeking a Postdoctoral Physical Therapist to support the Extremity Trauma and Amputation Center of Excellence (EACE) Research and Surveillance (R&S) Division located at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Liberty, NC (WAMC/FL). HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to EACE. The EACE works to advance medical and scientific knowledge through relevant research that will optimize clinical care and quality of life for Service members and Veterans with extremity injuries. We are looking for a new team member to assist with studies aimed at improving musculoskeletal related pain and function in Service members. The EACE-WAMC/FL Postdoctoral Physical Therapist serves under the supervision of the local EACE-WAMC/FL leadership, who assign areas of responsibility and set defined program objectives, for which the incumbent assumes responsibility for pursuing to completion. The incumbent serves as a point of contact for all administrative activities associated with the EACE-WAMC/FL research program. In addition to practical physical therapy skills, the position requires knowledge of research methods and regulatory requirements. The incumbent is responsible for providing administrative project oversight in order to maximize the effective use of project resources. Specific areas include: rehabilitation interventions, data collection, participant recruitment and retention, study regulatory compliance, and overall research project coordination. The Henry M.
