Overview of the Position:
The disassembly technician worker is responsible for the disassembly and cleaning of aircraft actuator assemblies and sub-assemblies. The disassembly technician worker works under the direct supervision of department leads, as well as the department supervisor
Salary Wage Range: $20-$23 Hourly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Disassembles to clean parts to prepare them for subsequent inspection.
- Ability to read instructions such as work orders/ travelers, maintenance manuals, and drawings.
- Responsible for reading and understanding work orders and asking department lead for help when necessary.
- Capable of utilizing the computer, reading manuals and understanding maintenance documents.
- Capable of using hand assembly and test tools and other precision measuring equipment
- Must be able to wear a respirator while performing work.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders
- Able to take direction from supervisors regarding the focus of the day.
- Report any error in work to department leads.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook on safe workstations.
- Contribute to the team environment by accomplishing designated tasks and is able to work closely with others in an assembly line environment.
- Clean work area at the end of each shift.
- Comply with FAA and company policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

- Work overtime as required by production requirements without notice.
Education / Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and Post High School Education. 3-5 years of relevant experience in MRO.
