Overview
BAI is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst, Journeyman with a Data Science & Management and Information Assurance interests/educational background/experience. This role supports background for an electronic warfare data system contract at Point Mugu Naval Base near Camarillo, CA. Salary The typical annual salary range for this position is $120,000 USD to $160,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
Responsibilities
Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improvecomputer systems
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
- Reviews program plans for specific weapons systems, sub-systems, and equipment or information technology systems
- Prepares technical data for inclusion in integrated logistics support plans.
- Prepares contract data requirements lists
- Provides data management for specific weapons and/or equipment technical data during production, fleet introduction and operations
Qualifications
- Between 3 and 10 years of analytics experience performing the duties described in the functional description
- Experience investigating advanced systems, emergent technologies, and micro service architecture design patterns with applicability to DoD Electronic Warfare mission areas
- Experience of developing and deploying Predictive/ML solutions
- Familiarity with tools such as Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus
- Experience providing strategic level technical analysis and developing strategies that leverage EW EMS Architecture in support of balance spectrum repurposing across Naval, DoD, Cyber, and IC stakeholders
- Understanding of cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), STIGs and other government security specifications and guidelines
- Knowledge of cyber security technology and trends
- Proficient in Atlassian toolset to include Confluence and JIRA
- Ability to work independently, self-starter
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Education:
- BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline
- ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant Associate's Degree
Clearance:
- Condition of employment - must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
