Responsible for coordinating and managing medical education programs by fostering relationships with healthcare providers, such as physicians, trainees, and other clinical professionals, to facilitate their professional development and ensure the organization offers high-quality educational opportunities.
Essential Functions
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as medical staff, department heads, and education committees, to identify educational needs and develop comprehensive medical education programs.
-Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to understand their educational needs and promote participation in the organization's programs.
-Organize and manage educational events, including scheduling, venue selection, logistics coordination, and securing necessary resources (e.g., speakers, audiovisual equipment, materials).
-Ensure that the organization's educational programs meet the requirements of accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies responsible for CME.
-Develop marketing strategies and materials to promote medical education programs to healthcare providers.
-Collect feedback from participants, instructors, and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness and impact of educational programs.

Education Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Management required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Medical Education Program Management 1-2 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, including an understanding of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and the dynamics of healthcare provider organizations. - Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills are essential for building and maintaining strong connections with healthcare providers. - Strong logistical and project management skills are important for coordinating multiple aspects of events, including venue selection, scheduling, and resource management. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effectively conveying information, delivering presentations, and facilitating discussions with healthcare providers, internal stakeholders, and external partners. - Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to program evaluation and outcomes.
