Job Overview: The Principal Analyst, Technical Support will focus on understanding, evaluating, providing guidance, and suggesting apt solutions to business problems or complex business situations; analyzing the impact on systems; and proactively evaluating client business needs and advising the impact to Majesco Billing System. He/she will also be responsible for understanding client business processes, integration touch points, and suggesting solutions to take care of efficient processing of information between Majesco Billing System and peripheral systems of Majesco clients and designing using Majesco proprietary products like Insurance Content Manager (ICM) and Insurance Content Developer (ICD). Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and gather client requirements, document business processes, define integration touchpoints and technical specifications, create business scenarios in Majesco Billing, and document rules, process flows, and system requirements.
- Translating Business needs into Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) / approach Documents and deliver as per customer needs. Document customer needs and provide required inputs to Design team for execution / Implementation
- Conduct Onsite / customer site requirements sessions to demonstrate the product features and functionality and understand customer needs.
- Provide solutions to Business problems or complex Business situations and proactively think through the likely impact. Also suggest alternative solutions to minimize project and Business impacts.
- Create and prioritize the product backlog, collaborate with the customer's product owner to plan sprints, coordinate with the offshore team for implementation and testing using Majesco tools, and assist in finalizing the test strategy and UAT grid.
- Oversee and maintain quality control processes to ensure the successful implementation of designed solutions. Review and validate the test parameters and inputs used by software testers to ensure thorough testing and comprehensive coverage of all key business scenarios, identifying any gaps and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate sprint tracking, defect triage, and stakeholder updates. Manage issue resolution, deliverables, and release timelines. Provide impact analysis, propose solutions for critical issues, and support defect fixes. Partner with QA teams on testing and lead user training on Majesco Billing, interfaces, and batch processes. Prepare Business Impact Analysis (BIA) documents and support system deployment to ensure post-implementation stability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis and solution implementation, preferably in insurance or billing.
- Familiarity with Majesco Billing or similar platforms is a huge plus.
- Proficiency in SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Majesco tools.
- Knowledge of API integrations, batch processing, data conversion, and SQL for analysis/debugging.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Experience in preparing BIAs, test strategies, and UAT grids.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions, stakeholder updates, and training.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Proven skills in sprint management, quality control, and issue resolution.
- Solid understanding of insurance products, billing processes, and integration touchpoints.
What Majesco Offers: Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000.
