Requirements

    Five (5) or more years experience supporting Navy systems, preferably tactical networks
  • Thorough understanding and authoring of Navy included in the Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH). This includes knowledge management / technical writing in support of SITREPS, PSOVTS / SOVTS, deployment coordination, and all other supporting documentation
  • Familiarity with systems and network installations, with the ability to understand complex Route / Switch engineering, design, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
  • Active DoD Secret clearance, ability to upgrade to Top Secret
  • Eligible for CSWF IAT II (Security+ Min)


Desired Skills

  • Experience with any or all of the following a plus:
    • Familiarity with Navy communications facility equipment
    • Cisco route / switch engineering
  • Technical degree highly preferred, or 15 years experience


Description

The primary duties of this position will be to act as a quality assurance agent / deployment manager for a large scale Navy Tactical Network team, the candidate will be embedded on an Agile team

  • Assisting with the technical writing, change request support, SOVT review to provide QA and identify seam issues / gaps, reviewing documentation to identify interoperability issues, etc
  • Providing guidance for technical teams on process steps for installation, deployments, integrations, production site coordination, and facilitation of formal documentation in support of the mission

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET ELIGIBILITY
