Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and two or more (2+) years of experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements OR a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Experience and knowledge in electrical engineering principles including design and analysis for: electrical circuits, power systems, electronics, and instrumentation
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with one or more of the following:
    • radar electronics
    • hardware and software design
    • principles and operations of radar systems
    • RF system/subsystem layout and design
    • RF subsystem assemblies and applications
    • radar analysis and modernization
    • modeling and simulation of physical systems
  • Proficiency in the one or more of the following toolsets preferred:
    • Modeling Software: MATLAB, Simulink
    • Radar Signal and Data Processing Toolsets
    • C++, Python, or other object-oriented programming language


Description

  • Under general supervision, applying use and application of standard engineering principles, theories, and concepts
  • Conducting research, analysis, compilation, design, development, and/or testing of technical engineering data in support of customer requirements in one or more engineering disciplines
  • Performing as a task lead on assignments of moderate scope
  • Performing a variety of analyses of technical engineering data
  • Interpreting the data, verifying product documentation, designs, layouts, or drawings for adequacy and reliability in one or more of the following areas:
    • RF systems requirements generation
    • RF systems hardware development
    • RF design and development
    • RF systems integration and testing
  • Developing, documenting, and recommending solutions or improvements for electrical engineering problems of moderate scope
  • Researching and preparing draft and/or finished engineering presentations, reports, process studies, or technical information used for such things as program reviews, design reviews, and proposal activities
  • Initiating, developing, and maintaining active interfaces and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customer
  • Assisting in delivering presentations to management and/or the customer
  • Analyzing, developing, and maintaining technical databases and supportive engineering systems
