Vice President, Information Security II

Technology Services Group Inc. seeks a Vice President, Information Security II for its Pittsburgh, PA location.

DUTIES: Consult with other IT areas and the businesses and provide professional support for major components of the company's information security infrastructure. Contribute to the development and implementation of security architecture, standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms. Consult with the business and operational infrastructure personnel regarding new and existing technologies. Recommend new security tools to management and reports and provide guidance and expertise in their implementation. Review and analyze complex data and information to provide insights, conclusions and actionable recommendations, provide direction and guidance on reports and analyze and ensure recommendations are aligned with customer/business needs and capabilities. Ensure that all significant security concerns are addressed. Recommend course of action to mitigate risk and ensures that appropriate standards are established and published. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Eight (8) years of experience must include: Detecting, analyzing, and mitigating security incidents and other anomalies using Splunk and Anvilogic; Reviewing BOT enrichment playbooks to increase the efficiency of the SOC triage; Performing in-depth raw PCAP analysis using Netwitness & NETSCOUT Ngenius; Developing new use cases and performing proactive tuning of existing use cases to meet the SOC requirements; and Creating timelines for security investigations and incidents using Microsoft Defender, similar EDR tools including Symantec and Crowdstrike, and SIEM (Splunk).
