About Us: The Central Sterile Processing Services (CSPS) department is at the heart of patient care at Mass General Hospital. Role Overview: As a Central Sterile Processing Technician, you'll work independently under the guidance of the Clinical Operations Supervisor in our Sterile Processing Department. Your responsibilities encompass receiving, sorting, and decontaminating surgical equipment, selecting appropriate sterilization methods, and documenting sterile processes. You'll be a vital resource for leadership and junior technicians, contributing to the seamless operation of our department. Qualifications: We are looking for candidates preferably holding a CRCST or CBSPD certification and high school diploma is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, knowledge of surgical service, sterile processes, or instrument classification, and experience with decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and high-level disinfection of reusable medical devices.
