At the ski resort, you'll ensure equipment runs smoothly by performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs while following safety codes. You'll work with teams across departments to keep everything safe and efficient, stay up to date with safety training, and maintain a clean work environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all state, federal, and manufacturer codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Assist various departments (plumbing, HVAC, lifts, snowmaking) in maintaining equipment and following safety procedures.
- Record all work, complete maintenance logs, and ensure accurate documentation for billing and compliance.
- Assemble, test, and repair equipment, addressing malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and adjust equipment, referring to manuals for proper settings and procedures.
- Maintain high-voltage systems, assist with repairs, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and workshops, staying current with industry standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient service to guests and staff, offering assistance and addressing concerns.
Driving:
- Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program
Education:
- 2 years as a licensed electrician
- 1-year experience with 480/15kv equipment
- High School Diploma or GED
