Job Posting: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Pediatric Oncology

Location: The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD

Position Type: Full-Time (0.9 FTE)

Schedule:




  • Days, 10- and 12-hour shifts.
  • Weekend coverage required as often as every third weekend (typically one weekend per month or less).
  • On-call responsibility approximately once a month or less.




Position Overview:

Join the renowned Pediatric Oncology team at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Therapy. In this role, you will provide exceptional, compassionate care to pediatric oncology patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Your contributions will help advance the cutting-edge treatments and patient-centered care that define Johns Hopkins.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Deliver high-quality, comprehensive care to pediatric oncology patients.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and take appropriate interventions.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and long-term care needs.
  • Participate in weekend and on-call rotations as required.




Qualifications:




  • Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Acute Care training and certification required.
  • Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
