Senior Copywriter

Crosby, one of the country’s leading independent communications firms, seeks a conceptual copywriter who loves the power of words, can deliver strong creative ideas across all media, and enjoys working on fully integrated campaigns for meaningful clients.  You must have an ability to fluidly move from short form advertising and social media writing to longer form web content and video scripts.  

Responsibilities:

• Team with other creatives to ideate and execute across all communications channels. 
• Concept and write for advertising, video, digital/social media, web, and promotional materials. 
• Develop relevant content based on brand, messaging, communications plans, creative briefs, and creative direction.  
• Support team members in a variety of copywriting needs. 
• Manage multiple projects/assignments. 

We’re looking for candidates with these qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years agency experience 
• A portfolio of work that demonstrates creative, conceptual, and copywriting skills. 
• Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills 
• Experience with healthcare, nonprofits, government agencies, military & veteran causes a plus 

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000, plus additional compensation such as bonuses and profit sharing. Salary is based on a range of factors that include years of professional experience, skill set, certifications, agency experience, and comparative experience to current Crosby staff in the same position.
