Job Title: IT Consultant - Java /JEE / Java Frameworks

Location(s): Westchester, PA

Description:

The Flow Engine platform consists of a UI and a list of Java backend services, including a Flow Authoring Tool and a Flow Execution Engine, enabling users to create, edit, publish, and execute workflows that drive user experiences and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain the Flow Engine platform, focusing on both the Flow Authoring Tool and the Flow Execution Engine.
  • Design and implement features that support drag-and-drop functionality for creating and linking process elements on a canvas.
  • Collaborate with multiple flow authoring teams to create and run step/task-based UI experiences across various customer and agent channels.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Flow Engine platform.
  • Architect system solutions and think outside the box to solve complex problems.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Front-End Development: Proficiency in Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Back-End Development: Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot microservices.
  • No Code / Low Code Platforms: Experience with developing or using no code/low code platforms.
  • UI/UX Design: Experience with creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces, particularly with drag-and-drop functionality.
  • Data Processing: Knowledge of batch processing, streaming, and real-time data processing techniques.
  • DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Core Java: Proficiency in core Java concepts and practices.
  • Multithreading: Experience with multithreading and concurrent programming.
  • Queues: Knowledge of message queuing systems.
  • Jolt: Experience with Jolt for JSON transformations.
  • Couchbase: Familiarity with Couchbase or similar NoSQL databases.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Architectural Thinking: Ability to architect system solutions and think creatively to solve complex problems.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with policy orchestration and version management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Understanding of data security and compliance standards.
  • Additional Skills:

    • Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
    • Knowledge of API design and development.
    • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
    • Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
    • Understanding of event-driven architecture.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
