Job Overview:

This Inside Sales & Service Representative - Parts role is based out of the Indianapolis Customer Center. You will support sales activities from inquiry to delivery, involving parts identification, quoting, order processing, and issue resolution. As you gain experience, you'll support outside sales teams with lead generation, market intelligence, and customer contact. Experienced representatives may handle special projects, requiring hands-on supervision of complex orders and external coordination.

Responsibilities:


  • Handle inbound customer requests to generate sales of compressed air products, services, and parts. while also assisting customers with parts identification and generate quotes to ensure successful order transitions.

  • Manage orders to ensure timely delivery. and act as a key customer contact, providing updates throughout the sales cycle.

  • Mentor peers and share best practices as needed.

  • Manage inventory to maintain optimal stocking levels and ensure order accuracy and completeness.

  • Manage outside purchases and transportation expenses efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

  • Operate forklifts in the Parts Warehouse (certification provided).

  • Maintain accurate documentation to address customer inquiries and meet internal process requirements and prepare reports, presentations, studies, and research as requested.



Requirements:


  • Associate's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience required.

  • Technical background highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to navigate internal software post-hire.

Preferences:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with Salesforce.

  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required (we'll certify you!)

  • Technical knowledge related to industrial parts or compressed air systems.

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing sales or service role.



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:


  • Fully onsite in Indianapolis, IN.
