ServiceNow Technical Architect

The Opportunity:

As a low-code or no-code solution engineer, you know how to harness the latest technologies by developing low-code platforms and creating user-friendly solutions for your clients. We're looking for an experienced solution engineer like you to support the management of low-code development platforms from vision to production ready, solving our clients' most complex challenges.

As a low-code or no-code solution engineer at Booz Allen, you'll hone your skills in programming languages and databases, using little to no code to identify new techniques and improve the digital environment. You'll use the latest cloud tools as you look for ways to support your team and develop creative solutions. Using your technical knowledge and appetite to learn, you'll work cross-collaboratively to automate and accelerate cloud modernization and reduce system maintenance and development costs.You'll be a trusted advisor to your clients as you translate their IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architectural patterns, design standards, and implementation best practices.

You Have:

  • Experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, custom apps, or development methods

  • Experience with Web development, including XHTML, HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, or Angular, and back-end technologies, including JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion

  • Experience with ServiceNow configuration management database (CMDB) administration

  • Experience implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, or Prototype libraries, including Java, CMDB, or asset integrations in ServiceNow

  • Knowledge ofSOAP and REST Web services

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with ServiceNow development, including CSM, ITOM, SecOps, and HR tables

  • Experience with CMDB and Configuration Items (CIs)

  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming, SQL, and NoSQL databases

  • Experience with application design concepts and tools, including UML, ERD, and Flow Diagrams

  • Experience introducing open-source solutions into ServiceNow via Script Includes, JS Includes, or CSS Includes

  • Experience implementing ServiceNow inside a DevOps pipeline

  • Experience with Agile Scrum development methods

  • Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP Integrations

  • Secret clearance

  • ITILv3 or ITIL4 Foundations Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
